The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF)’s International Academy for Leadership (IAF) invites young and active representatives and leaders of political youth organizations to join the online seminar “Strengthening Political Youth Organizations.” The seminar will be from 03 – 30 September 2012.<br />
The seminar is divided into three phases. In the first part, participants are given materials to read to deepen their knowledge and are encouraged to discuss via an online forum their thoughts and insights. Based on their contributions and performance, IAF will invite select participants for the second and third phases. The second part, 08 October – 24 November 2012, is a preparatory phase for the presence seminar (third phase) to be held in Gummersbach, Germany to continue the discussions from 25 November – 07 December 2012.<br />
It does not require participants to be online at all times. Work can be done at own pace as long as deadlines assigned to each task are met.<br />
Interested applicants must complete the attached application form and send to application@fnst.org. The deadline for submission of applications is 9 a.m., 10 August 2012, Friday. Please note that applications received after the indicated deadline will not be accommodated and that FNF will only contact short listed candidates.</p>

<strong>WHO MAY APPLY</strong><br />
The SEARCA Graduate Scholarship is open to nationals of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam who are regular employees of academic, research or government institutions and not more than 35 years old at the time of application.</p>
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong><br />

Interested parties may submit their accomplished SEARCA Scholarship Application form together with other original application requirements to their countries respective Ministries of Education, which will screen and endorse applications to SEARCA not later than 30 July 2012.</p>
<p>The applicant’s topic of research for thesis/dissertation must be in line with any of SEARCA’s priority thrusts, namely: Natural Resources Management and Agricultural Competitiveness.</p>
<p>Deadline for receiving of SEARCA scholarship applications will be set by the respective ministries.</p>

<p><strong>PROGRAM DESCRIPTION</strong><br />
The Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) is a capacity building program designed to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and networks of proven human rights defenders at the grassroots level. Applicants from high-income countries will not be considered except for those representing marginalized communities.</p>
<p>The 2012 HRAP will begin in the latter half of August and run until mid-December 2012.  To be considered, participants must commit to full preparation for and complete engagement in the Program.</p>
<p><strong>WHO MAY APPLY</strong><br />
The Program is designed for lawyers, journalists, doctors, teachers, social workers, community organizers, and other human rights activists working with NGOs on issues including sexual and gender-based violence, domestic violence, minority rights, LGBT rights, labor rights, migration, health, social exclusion, environmental justice, and corporate social accountability.</p>
<p>Participants are selected on the basis of their previous work experience in human rights, commitment to the human rights field, and demonstrated ability to pursue graduate-level studies. Full-time students or government officials will not be considered.</p>
<p>Advocates must work at the grassroots level. Applicants from high-income countries will not be considered except for those representing marginalized communities. </p>
<p><strong>FUNDING OR GRANT</strong><br />
ISHR makes every effort to provide full fellowships to cover program costs as well as travel and housing. A reasonable stipend is also provided to cover basic costs. ISHR staff will work with interested candidates who have been wait listed for the Program to identify potential funding sources in cases where ISHR has not secured the resources to provide a full fellowship.</p>

The Endeavor Postgraduate Awards Scholarship has the goal to provide full scholarship to international students in 2 to 3.5 years to undertake qualification for a postgraduate at Masters or PhD degree either by research or coursework in any field of study in Australia. The scholarship aims to strengthen the bilateral ties between Australia and the participating countries, to exhibit educational sector of Australia, to strengthen the mutual understanding between the Australian people and the Award Holder’s home countries, to build international linkages and networks and to enable the high aspiring international students to undertake a postgraduate qualification for either by coursework or research in any field of study in Australia. The scholarship also provides an inclusions or scholarship values which includes travel allowance worth $AUD4,500, establishment allowance worth $AUD4,000, a monthly stipend which is up to 3.5 years, pro-rata basis that worth $AUD2,500/month, tuition fees per semester that worth up to $AUD12,500 per semester/trimester for Masters (2 years) and PhD (3.5 years) and health and travel insurance that will sum up to $AUD228,500 for PhD and $AUD118,500 total award value.</p>

<p dir="ltr">The international applicants must be citizens and/or permanent residents of the participating countries that will not hold dual citizenship with Australia. Applicants should have manifested high academic achievement who have completed an undergraduate degree at the time of application. The international applicants also must applied for and gained admission to a Masters or PhD course in Australia. However, applicants must choose one of the two level study either the Masters or PhD since the scholarship will not  fund for Masters degree that leading to PhD study level. International applicants that are not eligible to apply are those who have completed an Endeavour Award and/or AusAID Scholarship in the preceding 24 months (2 years) before the current round of Endeavour Awards. Applicants that hold a valid Australian student visa are not  also eligible for the said scholarship.</p>

<p>Reach Oxford Undergraduate Scholarships for Developing Country Students (formerly Oxford Student Scholarships) offers this program to students from developing countries who cannot study a degree in their home country due to political or financial reasons, or the nonexistence of equivalent modern educational facilities. The field(s) of study the scholarship offered are all undergraduate courses that will be taken at the Oxford University in UK.except for the medicine due to the expense and length of the course. The scholarship inclusions will be full grant for living expenses, university and college fees and  return flight to the UK at the start and end of the course. The scholarship is eligible only to those applicants that have highest academic ability who have outstanding examination results. However, other considerations including  financial needs and social commitment are the major criteria for the selection. The applicants must be aware that the competition for the scheme is very high.</p>
<p><strong>Application Instructions:</strong></p>
<p>You must apply Oxford undergraduate programme on 15 of October 2011.  If successful, you can also apply on January 2012. The application form could be downloaded from the website on January 2012. You will then need to complete a separate scholarship application form.<br />

<p><strong>Program Description:</strong><br />
The Australian Leadership Awards Scholarships aspire to develop leadership within the Asia Pacific to build partnership and linkages among the neighboring country. ALA Scholarship enable the scholars to take Masters or Doctorate degree in Australia which means that it does not include Graduate Diplomas. The only exception is, if the Master courses taken requires the completion of Graduate Diploma as part of the Masters degree. An ALA Scholarship also offered Leadership Development Program in Australia to meet the goal of the scholarship. The field of studies the program offers are those related to AusAID’s priority areas of disability, education, food security, economic growth, governance, environment, infrastructure, water and sanitation,human rights, health, gender, regional stability and rural development. The scholarship inclusions of the program are the following:<br />
a. There will be a mobilisation of allowance of A$2,500 available if an awardee has been issued with a valid AusAID Student visa for the duration of the scholarship.<br />
b. The scholars will be given $5,000 by the Institution upon arrival in Australia as a contribution towards expenses including the text books, study materials, rental bonds, home contents insurance, additional medical insurance, etc.<br />
c. Full academic fees and other compulsory fees will be paid directly by the AusAID (Canberra) to the Institution.<br />
d. There will be a 4-6 weeks Introductory Academic Program provided by the Institution that is prior to their commencing studies.<br />
e. Scholars will receive a Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) that paid by the Institution at a rate determined by AusAID (Canberra) since they would review the CLE annually. For 2009-2010, the CLE is A$26,800.<br />
e. SEA will provide the financial assistance of up to A$2,000/year for the enhancement of their formal studies.<br />
f. AusAID (Canberra) will cover all the costs associated in participating the Leadership Development Program.<br />
g. OSHC will be paid by the Institution on behalf of the scholar for the duration of the scholarship that covers only the basic medical cost. Ancillary services such as orthodontist, dentist, optometrist, etc. will be covered by the scholar’s own expense or the additional medical insurance.<br />
h. At the end of studies, the institution will grant the scholar for a single economy class airfare to the Scholar’s home country via the most direct route.</p>
<p><strong>Program Requirements:</strong><br />
Applicants must not be engaged/married to someone who holds the New Zealand or Australian citizenship or permanent residency except for nationals including Niue, Tokelau and Cook Islands who also have NZ citizenship.  You must also a residence in a country other than Australia and applied  the program outside of Australia. Applicants also must not have held a scholarship that will study outside of the home country in 24 months preceding the application date.  They must also have an unconditional offer for a postgraduate course (either Masters or Doctorate that starts from the year they applied for the scholarship to be undertaken full-time at  one of the participating Australian institutions/campuses). Another requirement is that you must have an acceptable results from one of these English proficiency tests, obtained no longer than 24 months with regards to the opening date of the program application period:<br />
an IELTS Academic Test with a score of at least 6.5 (with no band less than 6) or<br />
a TOEFL paper-based test score of at least 580, or<br />
a TOEFL computer-based test score of at least 237, or<br />
a TOEFL internet-based test score of at least 92</p>
<p><strong>Application Instructions:</strong><br />
Before applying, it is important to read first the Australian Leadership Awards Scholarships Handbook (refer to their official website). Make sure that you meet the eligibilities of the scholarship and you have all the required supporting documentation. Ineligible and incomplete applications will not be considered by AusAID. The applications for 2012 intake will be varied per country but is around May-June 2011. For more detailed information for the application, please visit the official scholarship website.</p>

Individuals holding dual citizenship, are permanent residents and/or are presently studying in the US are not eligible.</p>
<p><strong>AWARD</strong><br />
Awards cover travel, tuition, stipend, books, and professional activities, and health and accident insurance. All fields are eligible except medicine, nursing, engineering, applied mathematics, and applied sciences.</p>

<p>Program Description:<br />
The Nestle MBA Scholarships for Women encourage all the women in developing countries to take MBA or Masters in Business Administration that will be taken at Switzerland. Employees of Nestle and its subsiduaries are not eligible for this program but only those women who manifest  financial need. </p>
<p>Application Instructions:<br />
Applicants are required to submit an essay (maximum of 750 words) using the essay template which will discuss the issue:<br />
		“Does the diversity in management impact the bottom line? If so, how?”<br />
and  the MBA Financial Aid Application Form. Applicants must also applied for admissions using MBA online application form before applying for the scholarship by any of the following deadlines:<br />
February 1, April 1, June 1, August 1and September 1. It is still important to visit the official website of the scholarship for more detailed information on how to apply.</p>
