The aim of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Human Development Fellowships for Asia Pacific (Media) is to encourage dissemination and advocacy on issues of concern to countries of the Asia Pacific region from a human development perspective. The fellowship was developed based on the premise that stronger media coverage of human development could promote focus on critical development concerns.
The fellowship is intended to support mid-career media professionals to communicate human development themes in mainstream media.
Eligibility
A citizen of a country in the Asia-Pacific, including the Philippines (See full list at the UNDP website)
A mid-career accredited media professional
Have around 5 years professional experience in one’s media
Not a UN staff member
Award
The award will be based on the proposal.
Requirements
Summary statements of the objective of the proposal
Project Proposal, including a draft budget, not exceeding 2,000 words. Project time frame should not exceed 12 months

Curriculum vitae
Letter of reference from 2 professionals in one’s media
