PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Legal Governance Centre, one of Macquarie University’s Concentrations of Research Excellence (CORE) areas, seeks expressions of interests from students wishing to explore the role of legal and constitutional arrangements in shaping migration in the Pacific region.
WHO MAY APPLY
Applicants should have an academic or research background in law, Pacific history, migration, colonialism, or a combination of these areas. Applicants should have equivalent research qualifications to an Australian undergraduate degree with first class honours in a relevant discipline as listed in the project description.

FUNDING
The scholarship pays a living allowance, currently $20,427 per annum, tax exempt (2009), and the tenure is a maximum 3.5 years full time, subject to satisfactory progress. Tuition fees will be funded for the scholarship tenure. Additional support for projects and conference travel will be available from the Faculty.
