The Aboitiz College Scholarship Program is open to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Business / Management, IT or
Engineering from these schools: Cebu Institute of Technology, Silliman University, St. Theresa’s College, University of Cebu, University of San Carlos, University of San Jose – Recoletos, and University of the Philippines in the Visayas.
Support includes tuition expenses, miscellaneous fees, books and transportation allowance. The scholarship payment will be made to the designated and eligible college /university and is not transferable to other academic institutions.
Each scholarship is renewable every semester as long as the student maintains the GPA requirement and makes
normal progress toward a degree.
To qualify, applicant must:
Be a full-time 1st year to 4th year incoming student of an eligible college / university
Be pursuing a bachelors degree in Business / Management, IT or Engineering
Have a final grade not lower than 85% (for incoming 1styear)
Have a cumulative overall GPA not lower than 85% or its equivalent (for incoming 2nd year to 4th year)
Have no failing or incomplete grade
Have no record of any form of disciplinary action
Have fully completed and timely submitted all the following application materials:
Fully completed application form
A copy of official HS Report Card (for incoming 1st year)
A copy of official college transcript for ALL undergraduate course work to date (for incoming 2nd year to 4th year)
Endorsement letter from Guidance Center / Student Affairs Office
Letter of recommendation
The endorsement letter must be signed by either the Head of the Guidance Center or the Head of the Student Affairs Office.
The recommendation letter should be from a faculty member that is in a position to comment on your unique qualifications for this scholarship. For incoming 2nd year onwards, the faculty member should belong to the college you are currently enrolled in.
Complete all parts of the application and submit supporting documents (up-to-date copy of your HS report card / college transcript, an endorsement letter from your school and a reference letter from a faculty member) to:

Note: Upon completion of the scholar’s course, the student will be considered for an apprenticeship position with an Aboitiz company for a maximum of one (1) year; the Aboitiz Apprenticeship Program consists of carefully selected apprentices who will
gain maximum work and on-the-job exposure that will fast track their ability to join the corporate mainstream Apprentices will be compensated with competitive rates and enjoy fulfilling company benefits.
