State Scholarship Program

The State Scholarship Program is for incoming Filipino college freshmen students to undertake studies in selected participating higher education institutions.
Benefits include tuition (excluding miscellaneous school fees), book allowance of PhP250.00 and stipend of PhP2,500.00.
Applicants must be 25 years old and below at the time of application, belong to the top 10 of the 4th year high school class, with parents/guardian having a combined gross annual income of not more than P120,000.00.
Required documents include Certification of ranking by the Principal, latest BIR statement of parents/guardian, certification of good health from a government physician and certification of good moral character from the Principal.
To apply, applicants must secure application from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHEDRO) or the office of the high school principal concerned and submit the application to the CHEDRO.
