MIEX International Executives
Master in International Management
Scholarship opportunities are available for students admitted to the Master in International Management in the University of Bologna in Italy.
The program focuses on the areas of international marketing and strategy, international economics, international law, and international logistics.
To be eligible, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Engineering, Agriculture Science, Law, Statistical Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Literature and Philosophy, Foreign Languages and Literature, Psychology, Sociology, Interpretation and Translation, Biotechnology, Physics, and Information Technology.
Applicants must also be proficient in written and spoken English. “Foreign languages, especially French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese will be considered preferential concerning admission.”
Interested applicants must first obtain from the Italian Consular Services where his/her degree was issued, a Declaration of Value and Legalized Translation of his/her degree and transcripts; Second, applicants must apply online at www.almawelcome.unibo.it; Third, applicants must pay the processing fee of TEN (10) euros; and Fourth, applicants must submit the required documents on or before September 7, 2007 to: Master MIEX International Executives, Facoltà di Economia, Piazza Scaravilli 2 – 40126 Bologna, Italy. The required documents are as follows: copy of the € 10 charge receipt; copy of the “Scheda riepilogativa”; transcript of records; copy of ID or passport; detailed English-written curriculum vitae; personal statement (maximum of two pages); list of the applicant qualifications (publications, academic honours, scholarships, and grants, references of professional experiences at firms, institutions, offices, or other organizations); Statement of Motivation in English (maximum of two pages); certificate or a statement of the applicant regarding the level of knowledge of any other foreign languages besides his/her native one and English; and Certificate of English proficiency for non-native English speakers (TOEFL: internet-based of at least 79 points; computer-based of at least 213 points; paper- based of at least 550 points; IELTS: of at least 6 points; FCE-CPE: any successful results if available.)
The Certificate of English Proficiency is not required for native English speakers and those who have obtained their college degree from an English language university.
