Undergraduate Studies
Stanford
Filipino high school students can pursue a college education in Stanford with a possibility of a scholarship grant.
The financial aid site of Stanford states in part, thus:
“Stanford will meet 100% of all admitted students’ demonstrated financial need – in the case of international students, Stanford will meet 100% of your demonstrated financial need if you have indicated on your application you wish to be considered for financial aid and our financial analysis indicates that you in fact qualify for need-based aid.”
Since Stanford has a limited amount of financial aid for international students, note that the need for aid will be a major factor in the admission decision. International students interested in applying for financial aid are required to complete the International Student Financial Aid Application (submit to the Financial Aid Office) and Certification of Finances (submit to the FAO). These forms are available at the University website.
Stanford looks at the totality of the prospective student’s application. It looks for “eager, highly engaged students who will bring a high degree of intellectual energy and creativity to Stanford…”
